SUMMARY:Winnetka Section Trail Restoration
DESCRIPTION:We’ve had to modify our plans for this Saturday\, May 16. We will meet at the Maple & Ash Street access on the Trail. Parking will be along Ash Street. \nUnchanged is our plan to work on restoring a site along the Winnetka Section. We will be preparing the site by removing the dense stands of buckthorn and honeysuckle. This will entail cutting and hauling the bush-sized vegetation off the restoration area. \nSturdy clothing is required (jeans\, long sleeves and tough shoes). Gloves will be helpful too. If you have pruning shears\, please bring them. \nWe are meeting at 9 and planning 2 hours\, but join us for as long as you can. No need to RSVP.
