SUMMARY:Trail Restoration Day
DESCRIPTION:Today\, we will be working in Winnetka. We will be removing buckthorn and honeysuckle saplings as well as other non-native plants from the Trail north of the Ash & Maple Access. We’ll kickoff at 9 am with a discussion of the plans for the morning. We will plan to wrap up around 11. Feel free to join us whenever you can for as long as you can. \nPark along Ash Street. Use 654 Ash Street in Winnetka for your map app. Despite the summer temps\, you’ll probably be more comfortable in the vegetation wearing long pants instead of shorts; and shoes instead of sandals. Bring your favorite hand shears or loppers\, if you have them. \nOur point person for the work on Saturday will be Bryan Lammers. Bryan is a trustee with Friends and is our lead steward for this section of the Trail.
