Glencoe Section Trail Maintenance

Hands-on volunteer, outdoor events where community members help care for the Trail by planting native species, removing invasive plants and supporting our healthy habitat. Removal of new buckthorn sprouts. Removal of weeds, non-native plants. Thinning sections which are crowded by single species. Deadheading to balance species. Removing garbage and fallen branches near or on the trail.
