Craig and his wife, Nancy, have lived in Winnetka (across from the only on-grade entrance to the Green Bay Trail, at Ash St.) since 1980.  Craig spent a year at the American University of Beirut, and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Kenya.  He then went into educational filmmaking, where his first film was on the periodical cicada (three emergences ago).  He also produced the first School Zone educational videos for preschoolers.  Eventually, he moved into product development for the Swedish company, Tetra Pak, that makes ‘juice boxes.  His final position prior to retirement was as Chief Legal Administrative Officer at Grant Thornton.  He has eight patents; the four most recent relate to an energy-efficient mulching lawnmower.
