Jo Ann has always enjoyed learning about the natural world. Childhood explorations of woods, beaches and mountains led to degrees in geology and oil exploration fieldwork on the Alaska Peninsula. For Jo Ann and family, running and biking the Green Bay Trail has long been a necessary part of life in Glencoe. From marathon training to biking to high school cross-country, the trail has seen more of their tracks than Green Bay Road has seen of their car.
