For most of his adult life, John lived near the trail; and, although he and his wife now live in Wilmette, he is still a regular biker on the trail. John spent much of his career at Rand McNally & Company and then in the catalog and magazine business; and for 19 years he coached for the Winnetka and New Trier Hockey Clubs. He is also Treasurer of North Shore United Methodist Church and an avid golfer
